The moat / 01

Four barriers have kept
CAR-T out of solid tumours.

Each has its own well-documented failure mode. Gaisce engineers an answer to all four — trafficking, infiltration, persistence and safety — inside a single cell.

  1. B-01

    Trafficking

Failure mode Engineered cells never reach the tumour bed.

Gaisce A navigation system that directs the cell toward the tumour.

  2. B-02

    Infiltration

Failure mode The hostile microenvironment locks cells out.

Gaisce A solid-tumour breaker that gets inside and survives entry.

  3. B-03

    Persistence

Failure mode Cells exhaust and disappear before the job is done.

Gaisce Intrinsic durability that sustains activity over time.

  4. B-04

    Safety

Failure mode Toxicity forces costly inpatient management.

Gaisce Autonomous safety designed for the outpatient setting.

The platform / 02

One engineered cell.
Three systems.

We don’t bolt on a single fix. The platform integrates manufacturing, navigation and safety into one cell — each system addressing a different barrier, together making outpatient solid-tumour therapy feasible.

Lead construct / 03

A receptor chosen for breadth.
A signal chosen for tolerability.

Our lead construct is tumour-agnostic; our first target indication will be second-line and later metastatic colorectal cancer. It pairs broad, multi-ligand recognition with a signalling architecture selected for a cleaner tolerability profile than first-generation designs.

These are engineering decisions, not claims — each one made against a named failure mode, and each one carried forward only when the data clears our bar.
